5 tsp Aluminum Free Baking Powder
1 tsp Lumiere de sel Black Himalayan Fine Salt
1/3 c lard
1/3 c Coconut Oil
1 1/2 tsp Organic Dried Basil
2 med chopped onions
2 c cheddar cheese shredded
1 c unsweetened almond milk or dairy alternative
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Use middle rack.
2. Place 4 c flour in large mixing bowl. Add baking powder and Lumiere de sel Fine Black salt, and basil. Stir to blend.
3. Cut in the lard and coconut oil with a pastry blender.
4. Add almond milk. Form into a ball. You might need a tblsp or two more of almond milk.
5. Roll out onto a floured surface using the reserved flour. Cut biscuits using a large glass or cookie cutter.
6. Place on 2 large cookie sheets.
7. Bake for 12-14 minutes.

🌠Note: You could make an egg sandwich with these biscuits too. Just add a dash of the black salt to the eggs when cooking them to give them a savory flavor too and enjoy.
