Chicken Spice Rub
If you like your baked chicken with a crispy outside and tender inside then you may want to try keeping a jar of my Chicken Spice Rub handy in your kitchen.
I also use organic herbs that I grow myself each year in containers and dehydrate every Fall. I store them in glass mason jars to keep them fresh.
It is a lot of fun to grow them and it also is a lot cheaper in the long run. If you are not a gardener, you can purchase many of these spices right here on line.
I also use this same rub on my whole chicken when I am doing them in a slow cooker and although it doesn't crisp up the chicken in the slow cooker it leaves it very tender and you end up with a very nice spicey broth for soup the next day. Which ever way you choose to use this spicey rub recipe, it's a win win. I hope you try it.
